2018 IBC Fire Wall Exterior Wall Intersection Tool

When a fire wall terminates at an exterior wall, the IBC gives two potential options for protection the adjacent exterior walls. This tool focuses on Option 2, where you draw an imaginary lot line at some angle between the two exterior walls and then measure the fire separation distance to that line. Please note that this tool does not address Group H occupancies, which have additional requirements for this condition.
